The AlphaX devices come with the default configuration. If you would like to change the configuration according to the different network type, this guide will be helpful for you.


  1. Find your device as a wifi network with the name “AlphaX-X1-xxxx” (where xxxx is the serial code of the device) on your system or smart device.

  2. After successfully connecting the wifi; Open your browser, type “192.168.4.1” in the search bar and hit Enter.



  1. This is the web interface to configure your device.



  1. Select your network type from the dropdown list. WiFi is the third option. Click Next.



  1. If you want to change SSID then enter the valid value. Click Next. (If Next or Previous button is disabled, make sure your current inputs are valid according to the green coloured guidelines for each field.)



  1. If you want to change Password then enter the new password. Click Next. (If Next or Previous button is disabled, make sure your current inputs are valid according to the green coloured guidelines for each field.)



  1. If you want to change MQTT server, user or password then enter the new value. Click Next. (If Next or Previous button is disabled, make sure your current inputs are valid according to the green coloured guidelines for each field.)



  1. If you want to change MQTT port then enter the valid port number. Click Next. (If Next or Previous button is disabled, make sure your current inputs are valid according to the green coloured guidelines for each field.)



  1. If you want to change Deepsleep timer for your device then enter it (in Minutes) within the range of 1 to 43200



  1. Click the “Save and Reboot” button if you are satisfied with your changes or you can alter them by going back using the “Previous” button at any time. (If Save and Reboot or Previous button is disabled, make sure your current inputs are valid according to the green coloured guidelines for each field.)

  2. After submitting the form, your device will get rebooted automatically, you can register your device in AlphaX using the link provided. (Note: Make sure, you have a valid internet connection to open the link.)
